Hello  Thanks for stopping by to have a look at my minimalist self-promoting nook of the internet!

I’m an avid adventurer, a passionate learner, and a curious scientist. I am happiest when outside, either trail running, biking, climbing or skiing.

I’m also postdoctoral researcher in the Ceder Group at UC Berkeley and Berkeley Lab.

My research interests have been focused on the use of statistical mechanics to understand atomic disorder in multi-component materials. I’m currently working on developing new methods that enable practical statistical thermodynamic calculations of materials using a combination of lattice models, sparse linear regression, optimization, Monte Carlo simulation and generative models.

I strive to find life balance1 by seeking learning opportunities and personally enriching experiences both inside and out of traditional professional endeavors. I’m always looking for new challenges.
